I have a ministeration to a group of ladies and the topic is Women Making Impact. Its seemed to me like a touchy issue but when we really look at it. Isnt that what fulfilling purpose is all about. There is no way we can rightly fulfill purpose without making an impact. When i look through the bible i see a long list of impactful women
1. Huldah( 2 Kings 22: 11-20): She was a notable prophetess and married to someone in the kings palace. At the time she was around other Great prophet like Jeremiah was around but the kings men sought her for God's counsel. She definitely made an impact on them.
2. Ruth (Ruth1:15- 2:3) Made an impact by standing so strong by her mother-in-law showing love and helping her mother in law. No wonder she found Boaz in the process.(Remember her testimony was part of the things that made Boaz trip for her)
3. Rachel (Gen 4: 34-49); She made impact by being of service. Feeding Abraham's servant and his flock was her key to marrying into the blessed family
So many women have made impact all through the years from saving nations to cleaning Diapers. You don't have to rule the world to be impactful but in every little way, make an impact in peoples life. Making an impact helps us to be reckoned with in the society, to even possess our inheritance in God. To be a good model that others can follow and to leave a lasting legacy.
So i believe I'm talking to ladies who are ready to make an impact from the smallest smile to the largest feat. Don't die full, like a friend said, travel light or better still empty(might not be possible cos we are daily loaded with benefits). Correct guys(not the rubbish ones) are happy to relate to impact makers. Are you doing something? Till we see I hope this post makes an impact in your life (lol)
